My boss and I were in Albany for a training conference. We were walking to a different restaurant and found that it was closed for an event. We saw some of our colleagues from the training walking and they said they were headed to the Albany Pump Station. Figured we might as well be joiners and ended up glad that we did. The place is pulling off the cool brewery vibe. Our waitress told us that she was working her third day there. She ended up handling our need for 6 separate checks like a pro, I told her it felt like she was a three year veteran. The menu has some creative choices. I really enjoyed the Korean BBQ wings, the poutine, and the pastrami kimchi Reuben. All hit with a nice amount of flavor. All seven of us at the table were happy with the food. Definitely a good option if you're in town for a conference.

Love this place! The whole building and ambiance is so unique and comfy. My husband and I were initially told it could be a 30-45 minute wait so we got 2 bar seats to have some of their tasty beers. But we were surprised to get a table in less than 5 minutes. All staff we encountered were friendly. I loved the poutine; battered fries can't be beat. My husbands go to is the gobbler and he has never had a complaint. I went with the seafood Mac & cheese and was pleased with how much seafood it had. Lots of shrimp and plump scallops and unlike most macaroni and cheese, it reheated nicely. Definitely recommend it!

We've never been here but it was my wife's sons Graduation Day and this was where he'd go while at college. Excellent service, excellent choices in sandwiches. Only complaint, way too much food. Great lunch for the next day. We'd go back regularly just too far to drive. Loved all the beer names and a lot to choose from. Definitely stop there if your in the area. Waitress was a short red haired little sweetie with her service.

Nice relaxing work lunch at the Pump Station. Have been several times for dinners or events but this was my first lunchtime visit. Sat at a high top (my favorite)right next to the bar. QR menu codes were on table as we were at the tail end of the pandemic. Waitress took our drink order immediately while we perused menu. I went for the DUPA double IPA and as with most of the beers here, it was delicious. A bit piney and hoppy with a subtle feel for a double. I ordered Thai chili wings for an app for the table and I got the fried chicken sandwich. Wings came quickly and were tasty and served with blue cheese. My chicken sandwich was piping hot, juicy and I believe had a chipotle type Mayo on it. Fries were crispy and tasty as well. I have been here plenty and it has a great feel between friendly staff, cool bones to the building and great convenient location. Their beers are amazing but they back it up with some nice food offerings. Service was great, food came at a nice pace and it is priced reasonably for a downtown location. Kid friendly, metered parking is plentiful.
